The WRAP BUSTER™ was the brainstorm of Gary’s to give a practical Christmas gift to his clients. He noticed that farmers and their employees were hesitant to take the soiled wrap off their cows in a timely manner. Often this was due to the lack of a sharp instrument that wouldn’t injure the animal or the person trying to remove the wrap. It is just as important to remove the wrap in a timely manner as it is to put the wrap on in the first place. WRAP BUSTER™ was designed to remove the fear of injury to both the animal and the person, resulting in timely removal of the wrap and allowing the animal to heal properly. “Gone Before They Know It !” is what it’s all about. The product was well received and the original version is still functioning on farms today.
The current production of WRAP BUSTER™ includes two models: the long Wrap Buster™ Max with a 48 inch handle, and the short Wrap Buster™ Pro with an 18 inch handle. Both models are virtually identical with regards to the blade and design of the handle. The blade is made of strong stainless steel which has been heat treated for a durable cutting edge. The aluminum handle is lightweight with a rubber coated grip for comfort.
The two models each have specific uses in mind. First, the 48 inch WRAP BUSTER™ Max was designed for longer reach such as reaching wraps on the front feet in milking parlors, stanchion barns or cows that may be in head-locks. The shorter 18 inch WRAP BUSTER™ Pro was designed for reaching back feet in parlors or in areas where a longer handle may be cumbersome.
